Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-kept. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor maintenance.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming lawns.
- Care for trees and shrubs through pruning and fertilization to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
- Dig holes for planting new trees or shrubs and prepare soil as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris, trash, and other obstacles.
- Assist in the installation of landscaping features such as flower beds or decorative elements.
- Monitor the health of plants and report any issues related to pests or disease.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping tasks are completed efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in groundskeeping techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience with lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Raking and Maintaining sand bunkers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with a focus on creating visually appealing outdoor spaces.
