ABOUT THE JOB
An Administrative Assistant/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the organization. This role involves handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office along with providing direct support to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Manage the front desk, ensuring a neat and organized reception area.
Customer Service
- Assist visitors and clients with inquires and provide information about the organization.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while addressing the needs of individuals contacting or visiting the facility.
Administrative Support:
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Maintain contact with carriers and company staff via phone or Email.
- Respond to emails about shipping appointments.
- Consulting with procurement about scheduled/scheduling deliveries.
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages and pack/ship out sample orders.
- Create outbound sheets for warehouse, allocating products and utilizing our X3 software to keep a controlled inventory.
- Organizing and creating tags for any outgoing orders to be assembled for the next day.
- Additional responsibilities as required and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This is a non-Supervisory role.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Language/Communication Skills
Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and informatively.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Bilingual preferred.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to count, add, and subtract.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
Ability to establish a strong relationship with management and team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
