Key Responsibilities
- Lead field investigations, engineering analyses, and project design while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and detailed project documents for transportation and public works clients.
- Solve challenging design and construction issues, making innovative recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, field staff, and laboratory personnel.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients while contributing to business development initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including large-scale transportation efforts.
- Provide technical expertise and strategic input to elevate the geotechnical practice.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation (DOT) projects is highly desirable.
- Strong client engagement, proposal writing, and business development skills.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
