Position: Tunnel Engineer
Experience Levels: Junior to Senior
Salary Range: $90 000 - $170 000

Role Overview:
As a Tunnel Engineer / Geotechnical Engineer you will be involved in various stages of tunnel and underground projects, from initial site investigations to design and construction support. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers looking to advance their careers in the tunnel engineering field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design tunnel structures and support systems.
- Prepare technical reports and geotechnical engineering studies.
- Oversee and manage construction activities related to tunneling projects.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or related engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in design software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, gINT, PLAXIS).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred:
- M.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or related engineering field.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain one.
- Experience with tunnel design and construction.
- Familiarity with NYC construction regulations and standards.
