Vice President - Infrastructure Engineering Lead

Location : New York, NY (Downtown Manhattan) or Mineola, NY (Long Island)

Employment Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Salary : $195,000 - $250,000 DOE

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)

Experience : 15 years

    • Key Responsibilities

    Technical Leadership & Project Oversight :

  • Manage and expand the transportation engineering practice (bridges, highways, rail, and traffic).
  • Oversee design, analysis, planning, and capital improvement projects for transportation infrastructure.
  • Supervise condition assessments, load ratings, and repair / reconstruction designs.
  • Provide technical leadership for projects ranging from small rehabilitations to large-scale new construction.

    • Team Development & Business Growth :

  • Mentor, train, and develop engineering and CAD / BIM staff.
  • Lead proposal development and cost estimating for new work pursuits.
  • Attend industry events and business development functions.
  • Manage staffing needs, project budgets, and financial performance .
  • Maintain strong client relationships with local and state transportation agencies.

    • Qualifications

  • NY Professional Engineer (PE) license required .
  • 15 years of experience in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills .
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and transportation design codes.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills .
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently .
