What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Noo-Kayet Development Corporation?
The Pastry/Baker is an essential member to the Food & Beverage Customer Service team at The Point Casino & Hotel. They will be responsible for leading our bakery and building their own team.
This position will be reporting to Alex Egan (Executives Sous Chef). With high visibility within the team, this individual will have a great opportunity to grow their career as we view hiring as a partnership- everyone invests their time as well as skills to mentor those around them.
Please Note: This position requires a Class II Gaming License via the Washington State Gambling Commission. In order to obtain this, you'll need to submit a background check and Drug Test (Hair Based that excludes Marijuana) AFTER accepting an offer with us.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Communicates professionally with the Food & Beverage as well as Catering management teams to anticipate demands.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new recipes, develop techniques, and refine presentation.
- Create pastries and baked goods from scratch and build out the team.
- Open to learning new skillsets and motivated to being promoted.
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of professional work experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Washington State Food Handler's Permit.
- Be The Point Casino & Hotel's Brand Ambassador.
Good to Have, But Not Required:
- Previous industry experience working at a Casino and/or Hotel.
Salary : $22 - $24
