What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Assistant Manager position at Noo-Kayet Development Corporation?
The Security Assistant Manager supports the Security Manager and actively participates in and oversees the day-to-day security operations of the property. These duties include supervising a team of security guards that are responsible for monitoring company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.With relationship to job duties and job responsibilities; ensures compliance with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Indians - State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and The Point Casino Policies and Procedures.
2.Manage and coach the security team in the absence of the Security Manager.
3.With support from upper management, manage all problems and complaints that may be brought to your attention by guests.
4.Be well versed as per procedures and communicate them as needed.
5.Enforce internal control policies and procedures including but not limited to; underage gambling and drinking laws.
6.Motivate, supervise, and coach the security team.
7.Support the Security Manager with regards to scheduling, holiday management, and overtime management.
8.Actively participate in department meetings and prepare appropriate summaries.
9.Oversee all reports, logs and pass downs generated by and for the Security Department.
10.Train and develop the security team.
11.Welcome visitors, contractors, external vendors and register them in the visitors' log.
12.Ensure that the security spaces and employee entrances are always kept clean and secure.

- Must have an understanding of state, civil, and criminal laws.
- Must possess knowledge of gaming regulations; understand and identify cheating techniques in gaming.
- Must be available to work all shifts including split shifts, days off, weekends and holidays.
- Have excellent resistance to stress and manage it positively and effectively.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Education Required:
Associate's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
- Previous Gaming experience preferred.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years' experience in security/law enforcement management or a combination which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience.
