The Role:
Nooks is hiring a Principal Site Lead to oversee all aspects of our operations in El Segundo, including Sales, Security, Customer Services, and the oversight of construction of new facilities. Our El Segundo Principal Site lead will be a member of Nooks' Executive Leadership team and report directly to the CEO. They'll be responsible for developing strategic relationships with partners and customers, and contribute directly to the overall strategy of Nooks. This position is on-site in El Segundo, CA and may require travel up to 20% of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Nooks Facility Construction. In close coordination with Nooks' Director of Operations and Head of Construction, represent Nooks with our General Contracting partners and ensure that construction is being executed according to plan.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government
agencies and industry partners across Southern California. - Drive the end-to-end sales process with government and industry customers in Southern California; coordinate with Nooks' Director of Sales and other Site Leads to drive sales across the country.
- Own responsibility for the security of Nooks' Sites in Southern California, and own the relationship with the local industrial security oversight entities like DIA and DCSA.
- Hire, manage, and mentor the Nooks El Segundo staff.
- Develop and manage
the Nooks' P&L in Southern California, in close coordination with the CEO and CFO.
- Ensure that Nooks' facilities and services exceed customer expectations while maintaining the highest standards of security.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Senior Leader in the National Security ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience successfully overseeing organizations to deliver outcomes in support of a mission.
- Experience working in secure facilities and on programs of national security importance.
- Familiarity with common Industrial Security Standards like the NISPOM and ICD 705.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position will range between $185,000 and $225,000. In addition to base salary the Principal Site Lead will be granted equity in Nooks compensatory with the seniority of this role, and will also be eligible for performance bonuses based on the success of Nooks' in Southern California.
