PURPOSE OF POSTION
Provides courteous and accurate Cashier’s Cage services.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports Directly To: Cage Manager and Cage Supervisor
Supervises Directly: None
Other Important Contacts: All casino department managers and supervisors, Tribal Gaming Agents, Slot Attendants, Winner’s Club Representatives, Security.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Promotes customer service as a priority.
- Completes all monetary transactions accurately and maintains a balanced bank.
- Establishes and assists in the maintenance of guests check cashing accounts.
- Accountable for the security of all money and keys within their control.
- Promotes Nooksack Northwood Casino’s Winner’s Club. Is proactively knowledgeable of and promotes advantages of Winner’s Club to current members/non members, upcoming/current departmental/casino special events/promotions, and ensures that members’ play is accurately recorded.
- Complies with company and department policies and procedures while practicing positive customer and employee relations.
- Provides accurate and timely documentation and reporting of department activities and status as requested.
- Maintains confidentiality of company and player information.
- Maintains a professional and neat appearance of self and work area and represents the company in a positive manner.
- Because of the Casino’s commitment to our guests and customer service, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.
Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Class III Washington State and Nooksack Indian Gaming Commission licenses.
- Demonstrated writing and English comprehension skill
- Demonstrated computer application skills.
- Demonstrated positive customer service skills
Preferred:
- Preference casino experience.
