Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared, organized, and delivered efficiently to our customers. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Duties

• Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to confirm order accuracy and special requests.
• Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station and surrounding areas.
• Support banquet operations by managing large orders and ensuring all items are prepared for events.
• Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service.

Skills

• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Strong communication skills to effectively relay information between kitchen staff and servers.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and restaurant operations is a plus.
• A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
