Our client, a national real estate developer, is seeking a Multifamily Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of 10 redeveloped affordable housing properties across the U.S. This role, based in south Madison, WI, requires a proactive professional with at least 5 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, and operational oversight of multifamily assets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute asset management strategies to maximize property performance and value.
- Monitor financial and operational performance, including NOI, occupancy, and compliance with affordable housing regulations.
- Collaborate with property management teams to implement leasing, marketing, and capital improvement plans.
- Analyze budgets, financial reports, and investment returns, making recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct regular property visits and market assessments to ensure competitive positioning.
- Work with acquisitions and dispositions teams to assess new opportunities and execute exit strategies.
- Review and manage property insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in multifamily asset management, prior experience with affordable assets is a plus but not required
- Strong financial modeling and investment analysis skills.
- Experience working with third-party property managers and leasing teams.
- Knowledge of affordable housing compliance and redevelopment strategies.
- Ability to travel as needed to visit properties across the portfolio.
