Position: Community Manager
The Community Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring a seamless experience for residents, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong leadership, multitasking, and quick problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support community staff with a focus on mentorship and performance management.
- Manage the community budget and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Ensure timely rent collection, bank deposits, and invoice submissions.
- Build relationships with vendors and contractors for smooth operations.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance and safety standards are met.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.
- Oversee leasing, model apartment openings, and marketing efforts.
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitor offerings.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and handle additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Experience: 3 years in property management, including 1 year as a Community Manager.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Additional Info:
- Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Supervises Leasing Professionals and other community staff.
- Reports to District/Regional Manager.
