Position : Remote Staff Tax Accountant
Location : 100% remote. Must live in Eastern Time Zone
Salary : $$80,000 - $110,000 bonus, full benefits, great PTO, and 401K
Our client is a fast growing, mid-sized public accounting firm with close to 50 employees who has been serving Central FL for years. Due to double digit, year over year growth, they are looking for a talented Tax Accountant with 2 years of public accounting experience to join their fast growing tax department.

Responsibilities
- Prepare Federal and State returns for S & C-Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts and Not-for-Profits
- Maintain financial reporting, records and general ledger accounts
- Maintain the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules and ensure proper recording of new purchases and dispositions
- Handle routine client questions and work with clients to obtain necessary information for financials and tax return completion
- Conduct tax research for unusual situations
- Assist in federal and state audits
- Provide an information source in the tax area within the company
