As a key member of the project management team, you'll prepare comprehensive and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects, leveraging your industry expertise and estimating skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate take-offs and detailed estimates using estimating software
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify requirements and potential risks
- Collaborate with project management to develop competitive bids
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors to gather information and resolve issues
- Manage bid documents, including plans, specifications and addendums
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials and labor costs
- Participate in bid review meetings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support project management during the pre-construction phase
