Seeking a Student Services Administrator!
Are you passionate about enhancing student life and fostering a vibrant campus community? We are seeking a Student Services Coordinator to manage student engagement initiatives, support student-led organizations, and administer programs that promote student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Student Clubs & Organizations
- Serve as the primary liaison for student clubs, Student Government, and other organizations
- Provide administrative support for Student Government Association (SGA) meetings, elections, and initiatives
- Manage club budgets, fundraising activities, and leadership transitions
- Develop leadership training programs to empower student leaders
- Plan and execute monthly student enrichment activities, both on and off-campus
- Coordinate major student events, including Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, and Commencement
- Organize the annual student gala and support Admissions events
- Oversee the Campus Groups software platform for student activities and communication
- Manage student amenity programs (ski passes, lockers, assistance cards, etc.)
- Coordinate student referrals to campus and community resources
- Develop and implement new student support initiatives
- Track usage and effectiveness of student programs
- Serve as the main point of contact for student needs, maintaining records of interactions and outcomes
- Contribute to student communications via email, social media, and publications
- Implement feedback mechanisms (surveys, focus groups) to improve student programs
- Promote inclusive engagement opportunities that reflect the diverse student body
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education administration, social work, recreational therapy or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years in student services, student activities, or a related field
- Higher education experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in event planning, leadership development, and program management
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and support student leaders
- Experience with student information systems and technology
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving expertise
