NOOTER, located in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our payroll team. If you have an interest to learn a payroll process at a Construction company, this position is for you.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Payroll Coordinator will work closely to the Payroll Specialist and report to the Controller. This position will support the payroll department, including, performing a variety of payroll/clerical tasks related to maintenance and processing of weekly payroll.
The Payroll Coordinator will process multiple union reports, unemployment claims, update and maintain union files, resolve any union discrepancies and payroll discrepancies, enter child support deductions and garnishments, review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years of experience of payroll/HR experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent related work experience.
- Highly professional, detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy individual.
- Proficiency in spoken and written communication in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people.
SKILLS:
- Incorporate positive interpersonal behavior with communicating or interacting with customers, subcontractor, vendors, and employees.
- Employ organizational skills that effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact the project. When obstacles arise, employ sound decision making/problem solving skills to resolve the issue.
- Incorporate safety and environmental responsibility into daily actions.
