NOOTER is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our safety team in Hemlock, Michigan. This role would join our team of Safety Specialist that we currently have onsite to help oversee the implementation of policies and procedures for general health and safety on the project. This role would also assist in adapting and implementing policies and procedures as they pertain to project safety requirements to ensure that the company's objectives are met.

- Incorporate NOOTER's safety policies and procedures into daily action.
- Assist all departments in developing action plans to reduce or eliminate occupational illnesses and injuries through the use of a Job Safety Assessment (JSA).
- Monitor and evaluate job site safety on a daily basis to reinforce good safety behavior and identify unsafe conditions, procedures, performance and follow-up to ensure they are corrected.
- Perform safety audits and provide the appropriate corrections.
Additionally, the ideal candidate would possess an Associates of Science degree or equivalent combination of technical training through associations such as OHST, CHST, COSS, ASP, or CSP. Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards.
