Position Overview:
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the control of materials for production, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery to meet production schedules. This role requires hands-on experience with LOT control and ERP systems, preferably Epicor Kinetic.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing materials processes and systems to improve production workflow and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lot control systems to ensure all materials, components, and parts are accurately tracked by lot numbers, maintaining full traceability from receipt to final product.
- Oversee the documentation and tracking of expiration dates, batch numbers, and manufacturing data for compliance with aerospace standards.
- MRP Software: Utilize Epicor Kinetic MRP software to manage materials, track inventory levels, and ensure the timely issuance of raw materials and components.
- Inventory Optimization: Maintain accurate inventory records and implement strategies to minimize waste, reduce excess inventory, and optimize storage.
- Generate inventory management reports and analysis for senior management, including stock levels, slow-moving / obsolete material reports, and inventory variance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the materials team, providing guidance on best practices and continuous improvement in materials management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Epicor Kinetic ERP software or similar ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of LOT control methods and best practices in inventory management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
- Experience leading and developing a materials management team.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
