What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Process Optimization Specialist position at Norac Additives LLC?
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Norac Additives LLC. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for initiating and completing projects aimed at improving capacity, reducing off-specification product, and eliminating downtime.
You will investigate and troubleshoot plant and equipment issues as they arise, providing thorough instruction for successful implementation of process changes. Additionally, you will participate on our EHS leadership team, leading by example and driving continuous improvement within the plant.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 5 years' experience within the chemical manufacturing industry. Familiarity with the full stack of process control components and programming is also essential, along with good time management, organizational, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
