What are the responsibilities and job description for the PDI Technician position at NORAD?
- Inspects vehicles for obvious damage, missing or nonfunctioning, components.
- Records discrepancies and signs a vehicle checklist for each vehicle delivered.
- Install equipment specified by the customer or PDI Checklist.
- Pour washer fluid into reservoir per checklist.
- Cleans and vacuums interior of vehicles.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Operate a handheld scanner to locate and close tasks accordingly.
- Remove Wrap Guard vehicles according to Port Policies and Procedures.
- Operate vehicles on site using proper yard driver guidelines.
- Be able to lift 30lbs, stand, sit, crouch for extended periods of time.
- Inspect and operate a digital torque wrench properly.
- Be familiar with basic computer functions.
- Work weekday and weekend overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
