GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Warehouse Operator performs a variety of duties involving the receipt, handling, distribution, storage, and inventory of materials used in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains inventory of materials and conducts cycle counts using SAP
· Receives and ships material
· Samples, labels, and stores materials received in the warehouse.
· Assembles customer orders and process orders from stock.
· Drives vehicle and forklift to transport items
· Reads production schedules, customer orders, work instructions, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, consolidated, and/or distributed to designated areas.
· Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements on time.
· Conducts duties in compliance with all regulations and company and site policies and procedures.
· Other duties may be assigned.
· Must be available for overtime as assigned or on an emergency basis.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES · None
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Four to six (4-6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
· Proven hands-on experience with SAP for warehouse and material transactions, inventory movement and control required, preferred.
· Familiarity with cGMPs, DEA, FDA, OSHA, and Environmental, Safety & Health regulations & requirements, preferred.
OTHER
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Must be available for overtime as assigned or on an emergency basis.
· The employee must possess the physical abilities required to perform general manufacturing and computer interactive activities including but not limited to: walking, standing, sitting, crouching, climbing, lifting (min 50 lbs), pushing, talking (English), wear personal protective equipment and clothing, possess the ability to hear, see far, near, and color, interact with a computer, and operate equipment such as hand and small power tools.
