What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Infusion position at Noran Neurological Clinic PA?
This position requires an LPN. Candidate must be detail oriented and possess verbal and written skills that facilitate effective communication with physicians, patients, team members and other individuals within and beyond the scope of this specialty. FTE : Full time, 0.9-1.0 FTE Location : Primary location Bloomington. Occasional rotation to Lake Elmo / Woodbury as needed for coverage. Training will occur at Blaine, Lake Elmo / Woodbury and Bloomington locations. Hours : 9 or 10-hour shifts, 4-day work week Tuesday-Friday, no evenings / weekends Other requirements include : Minimum two years direct patient care in a medical / surgical clinical setting Current BLS certification Skills necessary for the administration of IM and SQ injections Obtain Multiple Sclerosis Healthcare Associate (MSHA) certification within 3 years of employment Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude Ability to multi-task Duties include : Managing patient flow including rooming patients, vital signs, obtain adequate patient medical information / data Inventory and stock medications and supplies Administer IM and SQ injections Clean and maintain medical equipment including infusion chairs, IV pumps / poles Communicate patient status to medical personnel as needed Electronic Medical chart documentation in a specialized infusion software system Schedule infusion appointments Ability to work in a team environment You will also be eligible for the following benefits : Medical, Dental and Vision Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Retirement Savings Plan Paid Time Off
