Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant to support our residents in our Memory Care community. This position is part-time with flexible hours. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and assistance in their daily activities.
Duties
- Provide compassionate care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Offer guidance and support related to aging issues, including dementia care and other cognitive challenges.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
