Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver / Store Warehouse Team Member position. The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver / Store Warehouse Team Member delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones on a weekly route. This person is also responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Performs pre-trip inspection of truckLoads freight and accurately fills out truck manifestAccurately fills out gas invoicesDelivers freight and gas cylinders to customersLoads and unloads freight and cylinders on truckPrepares all items to be shipped on a daily basisPlaces all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basisMonitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessaryMaintains the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashionProperly receives all items shipped to the company on a daily basisAdhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rulesPerforms other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualifications : Qualifications
Class A or B CDL with Hazardous Material endorsement and excellent driving recordNo at fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferredAbility to drive and back tractor trailer combinationAbility to occasionally lift and / or carry objects weighing over 100 lbs.Knowledge of hauling hazardous materialAbility to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical – operating lift gate, and explosives – haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas)Excellent customer service skillsGood organizational skillsDemonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with patients / clientsAccurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the positionBasic mathematics skillsGood communications skillsAdditional Information
