Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourIndustrial Store Warehouse/Customer Service Representative position. TheIndustrial Store Warehouse/Customer Service Representative is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourIndustrial Store Warehouse/Customer Service Representative position. TheIndustrial Store Warehouse/Customer Service Representative is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares all items to be shipped on a daily basis
- Notifies appropriate parties of shipments received
- Places all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis
- Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary
- Coordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch location
- Educates staff on inventory accuracy and reduction of human errors
- Maintains the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Properly receives all items shipped to the company on a daily basis
- Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
- Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
- Answer telephone calls promptly
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
- Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
- Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
- Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with clients
- Good organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs andoccasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Accuratelyenter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
- Basic mathematics skills
