Legal Practice Assistant (LPA)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland Office
Salary Range: $75,000 - $115,000
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Legal Practice Assistant (LPA) to join our client in their Maryland Office.
This role involves supporting attorneys and associates in various practice areas, including Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental, Litigation, Real Estate, Tax, and Trusts & Estates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys and associates.
- Manage high-volume workloads, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain and organize case files and client records using legal software systems.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for attorneys.
- Handle client communications professionally and promptly.
- Assist with billing processes and other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a legal administrative or support role.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and InTapp.
- Familiarity with iManage and PowerPoint is a plus.
