Job Purpose
To strategically lead on Student Experiences for the Region
Key Results Area
Engagement and Interaction
- Develop excellent relationship with all key stakeholders internal and external
Student Events Management
- Strategic oversite of the planning, coordination, and execution of all student events in the region, ensuring high-quality and impactful experiences.
- Assist the designated host school in organizing annual regional events such as the STEAM festival, PA festival, Junior and Global Games.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student participation and engagement in events.
- Strategic oversight of event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and scheduling.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Oversee vendors and service providers to ensure seamless event execution.
- Analyze feedback from students and staff to continuously improve event quality and impact.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with all stakeholders involved in student events.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with event planning and execution, including safeguarding of students.
- Design and implement innovative and engaging event formats to enhance student learning and development.
- Support the Global team with NAE Student opportunities, for example, Tanzania, Switzerland, MIT Student Trips and Juilliard.
- The ability to use software and methodologies relevant to this role to a high level and learn new ones quickly.
- 5 years of experience in education program management.
- Bachelor degree in education, business, or relevant field
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver on immediate priorities and plan for future needs.
- Demonstrated experience organizing programmes throughout the region and sharing best
- practices
- Ability to contribute to a range of projects running simultaneously, maintaining high standards.
- Highly developed inter-personal skills and a collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to work independently, displaying initiative and creativity.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Able to prioritise, meet targets within deadlines and surpass expectations.
- Strong team player able to put the team’s needs above one’s own when required to do so.
