Overview:
As a Building Construction Laborer, you will be an essential member of the building construction team responsible for assisting in various tasks to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. Your role will involve working under the supervision of the Site Superintendent and Foreman.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in building construction tasks like framing, drywall, and roofing.
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns.
- Help with site preparation, including setting up scaffolding and removing debris.
- Move and handle construction materials like lumber, concrete, and other building supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures on-site and report any concerns to your supervisor.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by properly storing materials and equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading building materials from trucks.
- Report any incidents to the safety manager, foreman, or HR immediately.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy building materials.
- Strong stamina
- Positive attitude and great work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
