POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Systems Engineer II is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. Collaborating with the broader IT team, this role covers a broad range of responsibilities, including laptop / desktop computer deployment, user onboarding, server administration, network management, AV setup, and maintenance of other connected data systems, such as phones, printers, and embedded systems. The person in this role is an accomplished IT generalist with a solid hands-on technical background and the ability to communicate in business terms as well as effectively collaborate with cross functional IT teams.
This position is considered a hybrid position at our Manufacturing site in Vista, CA, with the expectation of working on-premise typically 3 days per week.

Essential Function Statement(s)
- Administer and support Mac and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain our MDM systems (Kadji, Intune) to maintain functional and secure endpoints.
- Leverage Active Directory, Entra, and other identity provider (IdP) systems such as Okta for user provisioning, authentication, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Administer Google Workspace, including user account management, policy enforcement, and service configuration.
- Lead user onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring efficient provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts and hardware.
- Configure and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Provide tier 2 support for IT issues, collaborating with other IT team members and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation; system configurations, procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT needs in manufacturing environments, including specialized equipment and software.
- Assist the IT team with hardware and software procurement.
- Share knowledge with and mentor other IT staff for departmental growth.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Leverage automation to reduce reliance on repetitive tasks and ad-hoc reporting
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT services and capabilities.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and hardware refreshes.
- Setup, host, and troubleshoot AV equipment for company meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements
The estimated annual pay for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
