Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with talent for optimizing systems? Join our IT team as an ERP Administrator! In this critical role, you'll collaborate with management to ensure our ERP system runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving any ERP-related issues, from software glitches to user access problems. By monitoring performance and gathering user feedback, you'll recommend and implement improvements. Plus, you'll play a crucial part in projects, from gathering requirements to rolling out updates. What you will get to do:
- Ensure the performance and reliability of Nordic Ware's ERP systems.
- Perform troubleshooting for software and system problems involving ERP modules.
- Participate in projects to implement or enhance ERP system and applications.
- Work with management to define user requirements coordinating system-wide updates and installing upgrades and patches for ERP systems.
- Provide recommendations for enhancements/changes that may involve custom design, optional and third-party products to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ERP system.
- Maintain ERP systems security through user profile management, create and update access permissions and maintain user accounts.
- Monitor and maintain performance metrics for system features, recommend and take corrective/preventive actions.
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of test and production objects.
- Review new software technology, staying current and recommending new functionality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related coursework preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in systems, and ERP/database administration required. Experience in Epicor or an on-prem ERP preferred.
- Enterprise Resource Planning certification (MCSA, Oracle Saas, SAP) preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP used in a Manufacturing setting
- 3 years of SQL experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to technical staff, management and end users.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A strong work ethic with the ability to carry out tasks with minimal oversight
- Ability to collaborate, problem solve and adopt recommended changes
- Ability to troubleshoot systems
