We are looking for a talented and versatile Marketing Communication Specialist with broad marketing background, strong copywriting experience and a comprehensive background in SEO strategy and implementation. You will get to optimize our e-commerce platform, create compelling product descriptions and marketing messaging, and implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and sales. You will also get to work with all aspects of key brand touchpoints including brand websites, email campaigns, new product launch support, sales enablement materials, and brand standard guidelines. Together, with our sales and marketing teams, you'll help us continue developing the performance of our iconic Nordic Ware brand in the marketplace.

What you will get to do :

Copy Writing

Develop fresh, audience-specific content that engages and delights customers and champions brand voice across multiple product lines and marketing channels.

Flex copy writing to be used across various print and digital projects (emails, blogs, digital, video, sales presentations, product descriptions and more).

Create marketing messages for campaigns and optimization via all relevant media including online, email, social and direct marketing.

Assist with developing brand and marketing strategies for new product launches including market research, positioning, messaging and launch campaigns.

Build comprehensive brand marketing documents to be used company wide.

Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to execute marketing goals and initiatives.

SEO / Marketing Analysis

Optimize web page copy, metadata, titles, descriptions, and alt tags for SEO.

Perform search engine optimization (SEO) tasks and implement SEO changes to improve search rankings and increase traffic.

Work with digital agency partners to implement SEO best practices across the website.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising strategies.

Partner with Director of Marketing to identify KPI's, develop performance dashboards, and report for various marketing channels.

Analyze website performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to increase brand awareness and product sales.

Identify and establish clear priorities cross functionally to meet project timelines.

What you'll bring to the role :

College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism or related field required.

3 years' experience in a similar role with an agency, consumer brand, retailer or manufacturer

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and messages clearly. Skilled as a communicator, content creator and copy writer who can craft compelling, timely messaging to inform and inspire others to act.

Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) GA4, and experience in BigCommerce, Canva, MailChimp or other mail services preferred.

Strong skills in SEO analysis and implementation of strategy

Experience in omnichannel marketing strategy for a consumer brand preferred.

Experience in crafting email campaigns preferred.

Good analytical skills and the ability to use critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions or approaches to problems

Positive, proactive mindset with a bias towards collaboration and teamwork

Responsiveness to constructive feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement

Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines and priorities

Interest in food, baking / cooking, or culinary photography will set you apart from others.
