The Role
The Agile Coach encourages, empowers, and coaches both leadership and Agile teams. The Agile Coach will coach all team members formally and informally (with a keen focus on the organization's Scrum master's and Product Owners), striving to unlock the potential and curiosity in everyone. The Agile Coach will embrace change while acting as a defender of Agile methodologies and evangelize core Agile principles in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
The Agile Coach will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to :
Leadership and Management
- Coach and manage a small number of agile development teams.
- Contribute to the success of Nordic's enterprise through involvement in cross-organizational initiatives.
- Kaizen the Agile process to support the new Nordic operating model.
- Teach, mentor, and improve Agile practices across the organization.
- Foster a team-oriented culture rooted in respect, high ethics and integrity, camaraderie, collaboration, and effective communication
- Drive consistent behaviors across the organization by maintaining and supporting the Agile Community of practice.
- Bring transparency to the Analytics organization about development and build trust.
- Monitor the health of the collective team, checking that commitments, pace, and quality are on track, then help the team understand how to inspect & adapt where needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to ensure all Nordic departments and functions work together to ensure we effectively serve our client and consultant needs, always delivering on our Nordic maxims.
- Foster a continuous learning environment, and pressure, embrace the uncomfortable, and help teams to inspect and adapt.
- Sit on the governance committee and support Nordic leadership with stakeholder management, budgetary items, and customer service issues that may arise.
- Must have strong leadership, change management, and emotional intelligence to solve complex, and at times emotionally charged issues.
