REPORTS TO: 21st Century Learning Grant Site Manager or Project Director
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: 21st Century Learning Grant Site Manager (Aftershock)
JOB GOAL: Support the operations of the After-school program
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months – Part-time (3:00-6:00pm)
EVALUATION: Evaluated bi-annually on the basis of effort, enthusiasm, inter-personal skills, organization, and collaboration with other program staff and students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Implement, lead, and/or teach program activities
- Work directly with students
- Monitor student progress
- Assist with daily attendance and other reporting functions as needed
- Assist Club facilitator in delivery of club activities and/or lead club activities
- Engage students in club activities
- Be responsible for the safety and well being of students
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Help serve snacks
- Help set-up and clean sites
- Greet family members when bringing or picking up students
- Carry out required procedures as indicated by Site Coordinator
- Engage in social interaction with students (conversation, games, etc.)
- Assist in the implementation of extra activities to engage students and families
