Primary Purpose:
Supervision of all mechanical components at the facility. Mechanical Systems Project Management regarding Coal Dock operations and equipment maintenance.

Principal Duties:
- Maintain oversight of all Dock Mechanical System’s conditions and maintenance needs. Provide recommendations to Superintendent of conditions and priority of need.
- Coach, Teach and Train all employees and contractors on dock operations, policies, procedures as needed.
- Research and Development of Mechanical System upgrades, Equipment Overhauls and Maintenance Outages to meet OSHA, EPA and NEC requirements.
- Develop and implement design changes to Coal Dock mechanical systems.
- Coordinate contractors to assist with design and implementation of dock repairs, additions, and improvements.
- Ensure work practices comply with Quality, Timeliness and Safety Standards as well as NS and Ohio EPA permits.
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum Level: 1-2 years
- Preferred Level: 1-2 years
Education:
- Preferred Level: High School Diploma/GED (BS)
- Preferred Majors: Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Mechanical Engineering
Skills:
- Leadership experience with the ability to handle conflict and foster a positive work environment
- Ability to promote a culture of safety awareness and accident prevention.
- Ability to relocate and work flexible days/hours as determined by business needs
- Some knowledge and maintenance experience of engines and machinery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TYES
- Excellent communication skills
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
