Location: Norfolk Yacht and Country Club
Company Overview: NYCC Racquet Sports is a very successful program in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The facility has 9 Har-Tru courts, 4 pickleball courts, 2 platform tennis courts and 2 squash courts. NYCC puts a bubble up every year for the winter months. With over 1250 families as members here at NYCC we have plenty of opportunity to get on court.
Job Description: As a Tennis and Pickleball teaching professional, you will be responsible for conducting group classes and private lessons for both adults and children of varying skill levels. This role is ideally suited for an individual with a passion for tennis and pickleball, superb communication skills, and the ability to inspire and encourage players to improve their skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct group and individual tennis and pickleball coaching sessions.
Design and implement lesson plans for players of all skill levels.
Provide feedback and encouragement to players.
Organize and manage equipment and facilities.
Ensure a safe environment for players.
Requirements:
A demonstrated history of coaching tennis and pickleball.
Strong understanding of the rules and strategies of both sports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate players of all skill levels.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate for group classes.
Competitive percentage paid to the pro for all private lessons. This is a full time position with a competitive wages.
