Job Title : Maintenance Planner
Location : Waukesha, WI
Reports To : Maintenance Supervisor
Part I - Position Purpose
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to oversee and coordinate maintenance and environmental planning activities at our manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient scheduling of maintenance tasks, managing maintenance resources, and optimizing our maintenance program using the Rockwell Fiix CMMS system. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of maintenance best practices within a manufacturing environment.
Part II - Job Functions
- Promote a safety-first culture within the maintenance team by actively participating in and facilitating regular safety meetings and training.
- Develop, organize, and schedule maintenance and environmental activities for plant to minimize downtime and ensure optimal productivity and compliance.
- Use Rockwell Fiix CMMS to create, monitor, and update maintenance schedules, work orders, and preventive maintenance plans.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
- Identify and allocate necessary tools, parts, and labor for each maintenance task, ensuring all resources are available when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and work closely with purchasing to ensure timely restocking.
- Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans using Fiix CMMS.
- Review and analyze equipment performance data to predict failures and adjust maintenance schedules accordingly.
- Generate regular reports on maintenance activities, including downtime, completed work orders, and asset performance metrics.
- Complete required sampling, meter readings and reports to submit to third party environmental resource.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with all applicable company, state and federal safety policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
