We developed the first Domain Specific Language (DSL) for fully representing regulatory requirements in AI code. This DSL, deployed with our enterprise platform, enables Norm clients to transform workflows and apply compliance checks at the source of business activities.
We are setting the norms for compliance processes at the largest institutions in the world. Our client base includes firms with a combined $17 Trillion in AUM, and growing quickly.
Our Software Engineers came from Palantir, Google, Meta, AWS, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. Our Legal Engineers are from Harvard Law, Stanford Law, Yale Law, Sullivan & Cromwell, Simpson Thacher, Davis Polk, Greenberg Traurig, the SEC, and FINRA.
We have raised $85 million over the past 18 months from top VCs and global institutions, including Vanguard, Blackstone, Bain Capital, Coatue, Craft Ventures, New York Life, Citi, TIAA, and Marc Benioff.
This Role
As Founding Product Manager at Norm Ai, you will be a driving force behind turning ideas into reality, ensuring that product development runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work directly with the CEO, head of engineering, and cross-functionally with engineering, design, and other teams to keep projects moving, align stakeholders, and ensure seamless execution. Your role will be all about bringing structure, momentum, and clarity to fast-paced development cycles, making sure that nothing falls through the cracks.This is an opportunity to be at the center of the action, coordinating across teams, anticipating roadblocks before they happen, and ensuring that product releases are on time, high-quality, and impactful. You’ll thrive in an early-stage, high-growth environment where agility, problem-solving, and execution are critical.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000-$225,000 employee equity benefits. The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed here reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity or benefits.
This role is located at our office in 7 WTC, NYC 4 days a week.

You Will
- Own project execution: Drive product development forward by ensuring teams are aligned, deadlines are met, and roadblocks are removed
- Be the glue across teams: Partner closely with engineering, design, and leadership to keep everyone in sync and ensure priorities are clear
- Keep the roadmap on track: Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and development cycles to maintain focus and efficiency
- Ensure clarity & momentum: Maintain clear documentation, facilitate stand-ups, and proactively communicate updates to keep all teams moving in the right direction
- Solve problems before they happen: Identify risks, manage dependencies, and troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure a smooth path to delivery
- Make an impact fast: Track key development milestones and work with leadership to drive continuous improvement in execution speed and quality
- 7 years of experience in product management, program management, or technical project management, with a strong focus on execution OR 2 years of experience in product management, program management, or technical project management and 5 years in software engineering
- A track record of keeping complex projects on track and cross-functional teams aligned in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills—you thrive on bringing order to chaos and keeping multiple work-streams moving forward
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams to drive sprint planning and backlog management
- Excellent communication skills—whether it’s leading stand-ups, writing clear project updates, or ensuring teams stay in sync
- Experience at a high-growth startup, where things move fast, and priorities shift quickly
- Background in SaaS, AI, or compliance technology
- Familiarity with Linear, Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools
- Previous experience as a developer
