Position Summary:
Norm Reeves Ford is seeking a motivated Fleet Commercial Account Manager to oversee and grow our service and parts accounts to commercial customers. This role is responsible for managing the book of business coming through our service department and parts department while actively developing relationships with new commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, account management, and customer service within the automotive or fleet industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing commercial customers, ensuring their service and parts needs are consistently met.
- Actively pursue new commercial accounts, identifying potential fleet customers and establishing long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with key commercial points of contact to retain and expand business relationships.
- Monitor service appointments and parts purchases to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Business Development & Sales
- Develop a strategic plan to increase commercial service and parts sales within the local market.
- Conduct on-site visits (50-70% local travel) to commercial clients to assess their fleet maintenance and parts purchasing needs.
- Work with the dealerships service and parts departments to offer tailored solutions.
- Stay up to date with fleet maintenance trends, dealership services, and competitive offerings.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with service advisors, parts managers, and technicians to ensure seamless communication between the dealership and commercial clients.
- Track sales performance, service utilization, and customer satisfaction metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide regular reports on customer feedback, sales pipeline, and account status to dealership leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales (preferably in automotive, fleet management, or a related industry).
- Strong understanding of service and parts operations in a dealership or automotive setting.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suit, and dealership management systems. (preferred).
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Salary : $72,000 - $120,000
