We are seeking a disciplined and team-focused Logistics Supervisor fluent in both English and Mandarin to oversee delivery and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and coordinate a dynamic team while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, expertise in shipping and logistics, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:

• Supervise and coach all delivery and warehouse personnel, ensuring proper execution of processes.
• Oversee unloading of deliveries, staging for redistribution, and loading for outbound shipments.
• Manage drivers on delivery days, monitor for delays, and assist with resolving issues.
• Approve team timecards and manage overtime as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Operational Efficiency:

• Manage delivery methods, create driver logs, and resolve shipment scanning issues.
• Establish and maintain warehouse schedules to ensure optimal staffing.
• Coordinate staffing needs with staffing agencies, specifying quantities, hours, and days required.
• Utilize metrics and resources to evaluate workload and measure team performance.
• Collaborate with management to adjust and improve training programs.

Communication and Coordination:

• Attend weekly staff meetings and provide suggestions for improvements in team operations, SOPs, or technology usage.
• Manage follow-ups for incidents or accidents in the warehouse or field.
• Ensure effective communication with team members and management to facilitate smooth operations.

Maintenance and Safety:

• Direct daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse.
• Ensure the warehouse complies with DOT/OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven shipping and/or management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team-focused leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in Mandarin (required).
