Job Title: Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative cardiovascular program and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and assisting during cardiovascular procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing patient care.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with physicians and leadership to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient assessment and preparation, positioning, and care.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
