We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in procedural areas and possess certifications in Radiologic Technology and Cardiovascular Technology. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with patients and working effectively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide patient care while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and strong working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Qualifications and Education
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
