Job Summary
Processing of outstanding insurance claims for Medicare, commercial, work comp, and government payers.
Processing and storage of incoming and outgoing payer correspondence
Patient Correspondence
Performs support to departmens
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer some education in related field such as Accounting, Billing / Coding and / or Business Communications.
Knowledge of Medicare, Commercial, and Government payer’s regulations.
Experience
1 year of clerical experience required and proficient computer skills.
Prefer facility billing experience, physician office billing or insurance customer service experience with knowledge of Medicare, Commercial, and Government payer’s regulations.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid and third party billing regulations .
Compensation / Benefits
15.46-$25.24 / hr depending on previous work experience.
