Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our cardiovascular program as a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist. This role requires expertise in radiologic technology and certification in cardiovascular procedures, contributing to a highly accredited cardiovascular program.
About the Role:
- Prepare equipment and provide patient care during cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Train new hires and assist in the orientation of staff, ensuring strong collaboration with cardiologists and leadership for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain expertise in radiologic technology and certification in cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support training and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
