About the Job
As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment used in cardiovascular procedures, providing direct patient care, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition.
- Position and provide patient care, maintaining a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
You will also utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS certification required, ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
