What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Qualifications
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within six months.
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
