Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, current Basic Life Support certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
- Advanced Life Support training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
