Key Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures
• Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
• Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, current Basic Life Support certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
• Advanced Life Support training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
