The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join its team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing exceptional care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.

About the Position

As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System, you will work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and maintaining equipment before and during procedures.
• Assessing patient conditions, positioning patients, and providing individualized care.
• Maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
• Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
• Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A strong foundation in radiologic technology, with experience in procedural areas.
• Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certified.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
