**Job Summary**
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care, and collaborating with cardiologists to deliver high-quality medical services. This role requires certification, experience in Cath Lab operations, and strong professional skills.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepares and positions equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, providing appropriate care and support.
- Maintains a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Uses downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
**Qualifications**
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
