As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a procedural area and possess the necessary licenses, including Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff and maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
