Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
- Use downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Qualifications and Education
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required, along with one year of experience working in a cath lab preferred.
